This is all I needed to know.
Thanks!
EDIT:
Completely and UTTERLY off:
I was looking up at the German text and I have to wonder:
Wir entschuldigen uns für alle Unannehmlichkeiten, die dies versacht hat.
where the verb "versacht" comes from?
I only ever heard of "verursachen".
Any additional info would be appreciated!

Thank you for the update Regina.
Good luck to the team! Thanks to them for working on the XTH, I'll be waiting for the opportunity to vote again.
P.S.: If ANet needs a Hungarian translation of the update on the XTH, let me know ^_^

Ahh this is more like it. While I feel like a moocher every time I vote, I do also appreciate the gifts a-net gives us. Looking forward to be able to get my keys ^^

The whole conspiracy theory about anet shutting the XTH down is stupid. Stop it. Anet makes money from selling accounts. The XTH gives people an incentive to buy a new account. The XTH makes anet money. Taking it down permanently would be the dumbest idea they could ever have short of shutting down the servers.
It most likely will only be down this month, and as much as it sucks, it really isn't a big deal. The predict the winners has been out since the winterfest tournament that Team Everfrost won (they give away wintergreen items) and possibly longer. I guarantee you the majority of people on this site have not been making picks consistently since they first implemented it. It won't kill anyone to have to take a month off.

Cool, taking the XTH down for 1-2 months will be more valuable to me than keeping it up whilst its broken. I've been getting 55 on one account for months, and 85 on the other, and i always select the same on both account :s So i knew something was wrong. But i was still getting free money
Thanks for the info.

Fixed it...
I know many persons in my guild that didn't vote but still got 55 points.

So, instead of getting our points late we don't get any at all
Guess XTH needs to be fixed once and for all, I just hope it doesn't take too long.
Thanks for the update Regina.

hmmm.. Thanks for the update? I am not the grouchy old man yet, but, isn't her job to do stuff like this? Is this not what she is paid to do?
You all act like anything and everything good or bad that comes down from ANet is like mana from High Above. What are you guys? stereotypical meek, obedient, computer nerds?
ANet messed up, in the design of the XTH reward system, messed up the fix, and messed up on PR and now need to break their promises.
I mean, statements like, there may be problems, (when there are obviously problems), will be addressed next day, (when it has been about a week and may be months), Send emails, (when you don't have to send emails), we are almost there making progress (when the solution may be weeks if not months away).
I don't fault the messenger for the messages when they are wrong, but its the nature of the job as a PR person. You get blamed and if you want to do a good job as a PR person you need to be able to spin or get better info to the masses so you and ANet don't get blamed.
The problem I have is the, stock answers, what seem to be the lack of effort being put in fixing the problems and keeping the masses accurately informed and satiated.
Guys, this is not homework, or free stuff.. this is real world, real jobs, real money, and real service. While overall, what ANet has been doing with GW is deserving of praise, the recent performance regarding XTH is fail.

You assume people here know what the real world is like...or can even grasp the idea that you need to work to earn money...or that you can be replaced if you don't complete an assignment worthy of the price you paid for it.
Naaaah it's not like thaaaaat, the worst that can possibly happen if you don't complete a task is a mild scolding followed by a pat on the back and the assurance that at least you tried your best and that you're still special...right?
And enough with this "free money" already....it's a LIE and every time you type it in it makes the economist in me cringe.

Meh, who cares.
I have to agree with whomever said Atleast there won't be as much QQing every month about "OMG OMG OMG WHEN DO WE GET OUR ZKEYS CAUSE I NEED MY ZKEYS CAUSE I NEED A TONIC I JUST HAVE TO GET A TONIC I'LL JUST DIE IF I DONT GET A TONIC!!!!!"
Though I'm sure plenty of people who don't pay attention will still QQ.

Just want to say HAHA to everyone who now has to go out and "EARN" their points and loot.
Never liked the whole voting for free loot thing, its a game, your meant to play it
Please make this a permanent thing, if kegging was a bad thing for the economy then this is just ridiculous. You just can't justify nerfing any farms while this tourny is running
